How consent works
SMS consent is collected separately from your service request. You are not required to provide SMS consent to receive repair service, estimates, diagnostics, towing coordination, transport, or any other service from Motorcycle Master Link. You may receive full service without providing SMS consent.
How you opt in
SMS consent is collected via an explicit, unchecked opt-in checkbox in our online appointment request form at mcmasterlink.com/#appointment. The checkbox reads:
"SMS Updates: I consent to receive SMS text messages from Motorcycle Master Link (754-333-7761) about my appointment, service estimates, repair status, and pickup notifications. Msg & data rates may apply. Frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for info. Consent is not required to receive service."
Submitting the appointment form without checking this box does not enroll you in SMS communications. Verbal or written consent may also be collected at the time of service intake, with the same voluntary and opt-in basis.
Message types
If you opt in, you may receive SMS text messages about:
- Appointment confirmations and scheduling reminders
- Service status updates and repair progress
- Repair or maintenance completion notices
- Pickup and delivery notifications
- Service estimate follow-ups
- Customer support replies
- Customer support follow-up related to your service request
We do not send promotional or unrelated third-party marketing messages. Messages are sent from Motorcycle Master Link only and relate to your service request or customer support.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your active service request. You may typically receive 2–6 messages per service interaction. We do not send high-volume or daily broadcast SMS.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Motorcycle Master Link does not charge for SMS — standard carrier messaging rates apply.
How to opt out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message from Motorcycle Master Link. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation and no further SMS messages.
